Every year, the OAW brings together locals with diverse experiences and expertise to discuss timely and important issues. The always highly-anticipated panel discussion offers the space to continue building the relationships that we need to find solutions and take action. This year, the OAW Panel Discussion explores the relationship between architecture and the environment and asks: “What are the blueprints to our eco-footprints?” The panelModerated by Anthony Leaning of CSV Architects The 2019 OAW’s Panel Discussion explores the relationship between architecture and nature. We’ll look into what the recent increase in inclement weather means to Ottawans; the many environmental challenges and solutions from the past and for the future; and how design professionals, activists, and decision-makers are responding today. Following the discussion, the audience will be invited to join the conversation by asking questions and sharing ideas. All are welcome to stay afterwards to network informally with our panelists. |
